About Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Mahendra Singh Dhoni a boy from a middle-class family like most of us and becomes the most successful Indian captain ever. A boy from Bihar who ruled the world with his leadership qualities and showed us all his incredible calmness under pressure. The number 7 jersey became a trademark for this man. A right-handed middle-order batsman and wicket-keeper, Dhoni is one of the highest run-scorers in One Day Internationals (ODIs) with more than 10,000 runs scored and is considered an effective “finisher” in limited-overs formats. He is also regarded by some as one of the best wicket-keepers and captains in modern limited-overs international cricket.

The man who taught us all never to give up even though he scored incredibly low in his initial matches for India then also he believed in himself and continued to trail his dreams and passion without giving up even in the strenuous of the situations. He was also a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) at Kharagpur railway station from 2001 to 2003, under South Eastern Railway in Midnapore, a district in West Bengal alongside following his love for cricket.

The Qualities that MS Posses

  • Staying calm with Conviction in his career. Hardly we reminisce ,Captain Cool losing his tranquility.
  • The most important trait in him is being down to earth he behaved equally with each and every person he ever met making him the most humble celebrity most of us have ever seen.
  • Accepting failures and taking up charge for those, learning from the past mistakes and never showing any grudge for anything, neither on or off the field.
  • His dedication and hard work always has been commendable from being TT to the best Indian captain he might have seen many ups and downs but didn’t give up.

In 2015 when Dhoni became father to a baby girl named Ziva. He was in Australia back then as the captain of Indian team Cricket World Cup a week to start and he decided not to come back but stated “I am on a national duty, other things can wait”. This very statement shows his jingoistic fervour in him.

Every Journey comes to end someday

This term when said for Dhoni has been heart rendering for most of us. We all knew this day would come but never wanted to come across. On occasions of the 74th Independence day of India the man with his charismatic helicopter shots announced his retirement with a heart melting video from him stating “Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. From 1929 hrs consider me as “Retired” like this our “Captain Cool” finishes off his international cricketing career in style. Left all of his fans well wishers and fellow players in deep morose. The Prime Minister of India even on Dhoni’s retirement gave a letter of appreciation for his great works on and off the field.
